Episode 156 – Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout

imageOn 26 July 2012, we released the first ever ‘Beer O’clock Show’. Almost 4 years to the date we’re now releasing our last ever ‘studio’ show.

It’s an emotional episode as Mark & Steve are joined by long-term #No1Fan Myles Lambert to reminisce about the past and to enjoy Almasty Brewing Co’s ‘Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout’.

Some big news this week, a final #Hopinions and we award the last-ever Beer O’clock Show great big boxes of nothing in the #prizelessprize and the bonus GIF #prizelessprize

Check out Myles post about Almasty Brewing Co here and many thanks to the folks at Almasty for providing us with the beers for this show.

Episode 153 – Homebrew Special #8

HB8This week it’s all about those homebrewers again! In what will now be our last ever Hombrew Special we are joined by Rob Woodland, Paul Hadfield and Rich Caller as they share their beers with us.

Rob gives us ‘Prime’ an American IPA with no bittering hops, from Paul we have single hopped saison ‘Springtime in Amarillo’ and Rich gives us ‘Dim and Peckish’, a barrel aged extra stout with added brett.

Plus we get the guys thoughts on the new Brewdog homebrew competition and there’s another #Hopinions.

Steve refuses to issue a #prizelessprize this week as he believes his picture should have won it so eventually settles on this one.

Episode 126 – Organic Chocolate Stout

We go all out traditional this week with Samuel Smith’s Organic Chocolate Stout – a beer that we both tried while on one of the Dragon & Flagon Pub Tours in London.
